Night Shift Manager (Transport & Warehouse) | Salary: GBP35,000 + Benefits | Location: East Sussex

Put simply, you'll be their performance guru - the person who raises the bar and makes sure everyone raises their game along with it. You'll also be their 'go to' person on hugely important matters like training and the rewards they can expect in return for their hard work.
The Role
* Take full responsibility for the department maximising the performance of each warehouse and transport shift
* Manage colleagues' work and coach them to deliver great team performance
* Make a point of celebrating and rewarding their hard work
* Inspire colleagues to solve problems on their own initiative
* Be accountable for the warehouse and transport performance on shift including all people activity (discipline & grievance, attendance etc)
* To communicate daily shift performance to colleagues, peers and Senior Team
* Plan, do and review process - feedback and continuous improvement
* Engage with the teams to continually improve engagement
* Help nurture the ambition of talented managers and colleagues on your shift
A Little About You???
* The ability to operate at a management level and potentially beyond the role
* Computer literate in all Microsoft packages
* Experience of a Fast moving Transport environment, preferably from a multi-drop, multi-temperature foodservice business
* Full understanding of Warehouse operations and Transport legislation
* Have the ability to manage difficult situations
* Have the ability to flex with an ever changing environment both where the job is impacted and in attitude
* Demonstrate world class communications to colleagues
* Have a strong will to win, evidenced by a track record of KPI achievement
