A Mechanical or Electrical Engineer is required on an interim basis to join the Estates and Facilities team at a NHS Trust in London.
The job holder will be responsible for carrying out duties as an AP/RP persons as required in the department of health HTM.
* Liaise with and oversee the output of external consultants and service providers
* Contribute to the development of strategic and operational policies and procedures in conjunction with the Senior Engineer, providing particular input on the basis of own specialist area (mechanical/electrical).
* Provide advice and instruction to Maintenance in respect of the appropriate structure population and use of the departments CAFM system.
* Provide technical knowledge in own discipline to support Engineering Team, department and divisional initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
Essential
* Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering - mechanical or electrical
* Minimum of 3 years' experience operating in a like for like role
* Minimum of 3 years working directly for a client within a multi-site portfolio
* Experience working within a large maintenance/estates team - Healthcare environment
