My client, a specialist Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling, is searching for a Senior Drainage Design Engineer to join a supportive Team based in Brighton.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline (including a HNC, FdSc, BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Coastal or Environmental Engineering) and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Drainage Strategy or Drainage, Pipeline or Sewerage Design using Microdrainage or AutoCAD.
Applicants are also required to have an interest in Hydraulic Modelling or Flood Estimation.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally or prepared to move to the local area.
This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to join a fast paced Consultancy based in the heart of Brighton. As a Drainage Engineer you will have the opportunity to mentor team members, manage projects and complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Modelling Projects for Pre-planning Projects for Private Sector Clients, Private Developers, Insurance Companies and Local Authorities.
You will also be supported to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS, Drainage Strategy and SuDS Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
You may also have the opportunity to Environmental Projects.
