We have an excellent opportunity for a Housing Officer with one of our key clients based in Nottinghamshire on a temporary ongoing basis. Our client is a highly respected social housing provider that provides tenancy management services across the region.
As a Housing Officer you will be responsible for all tenancy management related issues across a defined patch of properties, so you must have previous experience of working within a similar role within the social housing sector.
As part of a larger neighbourhood services team you will be working alongside and supporting the service to provide a first class tenancy management service for the tenants.
Please find below a brief summary of your duties:
* Conducting estate inspections to ensure that the estates are up to standard
* Liaising with tenants to deal with any queries they had in relation to their properties
* Conducting viewings with prospective tenants
* Investigating low level cases of ASB
* Ensuring tenants are adhering to the terms of their tenancy contracts
* Where necessary enforcing tenancy conditions and representing the organisation in court
* Carried out interviews both in the office and at customers' homes
* Identifying vulnerable tenants and ensuring they receive the correct level of support
