I am working with a leading retailer who are expanding their internal L&D team by recruiting a Learning Designer to start ASAP for a 12 month FTC. This is predominantly remote with required travel into the Essex office for 2 days every other week.
This is a role where you will be responsible in taking learning content from end to end, from the initial kick off meeting with stakeholders and SME's including a needs analysis right the way through to the implementation of the content and the quality assurance of it as well. As this position is embeded within an internal division, the types of content you will be covering include product, sales, technical and behavioural as a few examples and you will be working with the stakeholders and SME's to ensure it adhere's to the format and mechanism discussed.
A lot of the content that you will be creating will be around blended learning so the experience of creating learning with this approach is an absolute must have as well as being able to effectively design the post-module activity including ongoing support and assessment to ensure all staff are up-skilling to the right level and keeping to that standard. Collaboration is also a key element to this role, though you will be designing the content from end to end, you will need to collaborate with third parties when needed and when providing insight in learning design to help assist other members of the Learning Design team when required.
Key Skills
Learning Design/Instructional Design

End to End Deisgn & Development
Training Needs Analysis - Defining the Scope, Objectives and Requirements of Each Course
