Avenue is actively recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer for a truly unique company. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be an ambassador for the brand while coordinating the delivery of a premium product and unrivalled service.

The role requires a technical and structured mindset where speed of response is expected by both our customers and consumers. This is an office, telephone based role, so excellent telephone handling skills, organisation and clear communication are essential. On call rota.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced GSR heating engineer that is looking to come off the tools and use their knowledge and experience to help improve operations and provide best in industry customer experience.

Your main duties and responsibilities as Technical Support Engineer will include:

Be the first point of contact for technical telephone queries, dealing with warranty claims, supporting our selected partners and consumers with boiler faults / issues.
Manage the service callout process from calls being raised, confirming Service Agent timely attendance, checking on progress and prompt, accurate completion of service call records.
Ensure our service agents deliver on SLA and remain fit for purpose, providing an acceptable level of quality and service to our end users.
Manage warranty parts return process from Service Agents to factory and spares stock replenishment
Manage our out of hours telephone helpline, including dealing with emailed customer issues.
Support in the performance management and recruitment of our Service agent network.
Assist invoice team with disputes and queries to support claims and ensure a suitable conclusion is reached.
Flexibility in assisting colleagues as required at busy times of year in order to meet and adapt to seasonal business needs.Qualifications and Requirements:

Technical experience in the domestic boiler industry is essential
Gas installation, service and repair experience and knowledge
Technical knowledge of boilers, controls and system components
Gas Safe Registered preferred (active or expired)
IT literate, customer focused, reliable, responsible and dependable in fulfilling job requirements.
