Facilities Officer

We are recruiting for a facilities officer to support in the planning, management and implementation of operational hard and soft facilities, and property management services.

Key tasks include:

Seek continuous improvement of the facilities management function and implementing improved change to increase and deliver optimum performance.

Work flexibly with the wider Property and Safety Team undertaking any other duties which contribute to the team and Plymouth Community Homes objectives and values and liaison with all departments at all levels within Plymouth Community Homes.

Maintain confidentiality of all information gained during the course of employment that relates to other employees, the public, contractors and site security across our corporate estate etc.

Undertake any duties that may arise or may be delegated by the Facilities & Workplace Manager to maintain the operational need of the Property & Safety function.

Coach other members of the Property & Safety team when required.

To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, and participate in appropriate training activities.

Previous experience of building services in a property/facility management role is essential.
