Cell Leader – Nights

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cell Leader to join us on our permanent 3 on 3 off night shift. In this role you will ensure all operational standards are in place and will play an active role in the day to day running of the Production Unit ensuring efficiency, quality, cost, labour and material targets are met.

Setting up production lines (from extruder to conversion equipment) and monitoring and maintaining their efficient running, you will assist with fault finding, identification of line equipment faults and rectification or escalation as appropriate. In addition, you will participate in (MSHO) machine safety handovers & Risk assessments.

You will be responsible for all people management activities within your Production Cell including, Return to work interviews, holiday requests and overtime.You will provide support and training for your team and undertake quality checks as required.

With at least 5 years’ experience in a medium to large fast moving manufacturing environment and a sound mechanical aptitude, you will have experience in a supervisory role. Able to work to deadlines and under pressure, you will have excellent interpersonal skills.
