Job Title: Proof of Delivery (POD) Controller

Location: Banbury

Shifts: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Job Purpose:

The position of POD Controller consists of sorting, scanning, chasing and indexing proof of delivery paperwork for our customers. The candidate will confirm in an accurate and timely manner all PODs across the Great Bear network.

Your responsibilities as a POD Controller:

- Sift PODs out from the general post and distribute remaining post to other departments

- Sort PODs as instructed and scan them in to the computer system in an accurate and timely manner

- Chase outstanding PODs from depots

- Ensure customer/client queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and to the satisfaction of the customer

- Ensure customer/client non-conformance is properly recorded and fed back to the client and corrective action taken

- Ensure POD discrepancies are sent through to our Claims Team to be investigated, and that actions taken are properly recorded and, the outcome communicated to the client as appropriate

- Other admin tasks as determined by your Team Leader
Skills and Knowledge:

- Attention to detail/accuracy

- Ability to work without direct supervision

- Adaptable and methodical approach to work

- Conscientious and reliable with a positive and adaptable attitude

- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines

- Able to work as part of a team or individually

- Consumer orientated and customer service driven

- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook

- Excellent communication skills
