HR WITH A DIFFERENCE

We are looking for a PEOPLE OPERATIONAL PARTNER to join our People & Development Team at Space Engineering Services. This team is led by our Head of People & Development, and the role will work alongside another People Operational Partner and a People Development Partner, with administrative support from a larger Central Services Team.

Our People & Development Team has gone through a transformation this year, becoming a proactive, customer focused and improvement motivated team, and we have an exciting opportunity for a new team member to join us.

The People Operational Partner is primarily responsible for supporting and guiding managers in ER activity, including discipline, grievance, attendance, performance. You'll work proactively alongside a designated business unit, (c.200 employees) and build trusted relationships with your management teams, so it's a great opportunity to get insight into a Business Partnering role.

You'll also get exposure to lots of different projects. We've introduced a People Strategy within the business, with a real focus on improving employee experience. We're introducing loads of initiatives, from engagement surveys, to performance review discussions, to values and behaviours??? there's plenty to get involved in.

This role is likely to be 65% operational ER, 25% projects and 10% strategic, varying through the year based on business requirements.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH?

This is an exciting time to join Space Engineering Services. We know that people are our greatest asset, so we want to offer them the best experience possible.

* We operate a non-discriminatory employment policy, which focusses on diversity and inclusion and where full and fair consideration is given to all applicants.

* We believe in a work life balance, so we have family friendly initiatives that support a balance between work life and home life.

* We value continuous improvement, and gain insight through employee experience surveys throughout the year to enable us to make the changes that matter.

* We are committed to supporting our people in their own learning and development by providing access to a range of learning interventions to enable our teams to perform at their best.

We're looking for someone who has experience in a generalist HR role within a multi-site, customer focussed operation, and can demonstrate a commitment to understanding and delivering against business and stakeholder needs with a desire to continuously improve employee experience.

This role is based from our COVID-secure Bristol office, which has free onsite parking just 2 miles from Bristol City Centre. Of course, we do have flexible working arrangements, so some home working can be considered.

We will consider working hours between 27.5 and 37.5 per week, worked over 4 or 5 days.

If this sounds like the kind of opportunity and company you're interested in being a part of, we want to hear from you.

Please note, we will not consider applications from agencies
