Our client is a leading SME manufacturing business, in South Leeds. The business is looking to employ a bookkeeper to add value to its accounts function.
Description
Bookkeeper - Leeds
Reporting into the Group FC, your role will be to process the Purchase Ledger: maintenance of the supplier database, compliance with purchase order procedure, entering of purchase invoices, preparation of weekly payment run and management of company payment cards. Sales Ledger: overseeing generation of sales invoices, monitoring and entering incoming payments, management of credit terms and account applications, full responsibility for credit control
Overhead budget management and reporting, Cash flow management and reporting and a production of various financial reports on weekly and monthly basis.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
First rate bookkeeping operational knowledge - essential
Excellent communication skills - essential
Accountability - essential
A flexible approach to working in a fast paced environment - essential
Ability to travel occasionally - national basis - essentialJob Offer
Excellent salary on offer - GBP24,000 - GBP30,000 (depending on experience), 28 days holiday includes statutory, free on site parking
