Head Chef - Immediate start available
Salary: Highly Competitive GBPGBPGBP
Hours: Full time, Permanent
Location: Mid Glamorgan, CF36
Our clients' hotel features one of the most popular restaurants in Porthcawl that offers comfortable surroundings with safe lighting and furnishings, a fine menu and extensive wine & liqueur list.
They are a busy Hotel with 18 rooms, a large Orangery/Restaurant over-looking the sea, private function room and bar. They often hold a lot of Weddings and Functions with large numbers of guest so the appointed candidate should be used to providing catering for large groups and able to work under pressure.
Due to continued success they are looking to recruit an ambitious, creative Chef looking to expand on their career that can also create their own stamp on the fresh, locally sourced Menus and can build from there.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a chef role is essential
* Previous experience catering for large groups of people would be highly beneficial
* High standard of food hygiene and health and safety
* A passion for producing amazing fresh food to a high standard is essential
* NVQ 2 or Diploma level 2 in catering is desirable
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Must be able to work flexible hours
* Eligible to work in the UK
