The client are a thriving leading manufacturer of household products. They are an award winning company and boast significant investment and growth in recent years
The role will suit a mechanical maintenance engineer who is able to work under their own initiative and control.
Duties / Responsibilities are;
Carry out PPM duties on production line press machines and also carry out any breakdown repairs where required.
Responsible for regular service checks on production line machinery.
Liase with production management and engineering to help resolve any issues and breakdowns/faults.
Co-ordinate and replenish consumables where required.
Assist maintenance on other sections when required.
I am keen to see CV's from maintenance technicians who hold the following skills/expertise;
Mechanical bias with previous expertise of repair of plant pressings machinery
Ideally have expertise of working on Rhodes, Seki or Bentley press machines
Pneumatic and Hydraulic expertise
Some electrical experience would be advantageous but not essential
Worked on motors
Some injection mould experience would be helpful
Some flexibility with working hours to cover holidays etcThe company are based near Blackburn so is commutable from Burnley, Halifax, Accrington, Preston, Bury, Bolton, Bradford.
Hours are days 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday
