An international, award-winning Product Design Consultancy are seeking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer to support their medical devices, consumer and professional goods teams. Based near Dublin you will work closely with exciting blue-chip companies such as Google, Panasonic, Abbott, Philips, HP and Samsung to develop innovative medical devices and consumer electronics. The company offers flexible working, annual bonus and pay review, pension and international travel opportunities.
Please note: The company is based near Dublin, Ireland. If your application is successful, you will need to be able to commute to work Monday to Friday.
As Electronics Design Engineer will you be responsible for:
Developing new product design concepts and specifications.
PCB layout, design, prototyping and testing.
Assessing existing products through teardown analysis.
Liaising with clients and supporting mechanical engineers to develop cutting edge technology.
To be a successful Electronics Design Engineer you will have:
Proven experience as an Electronics Engineer, Firmware Designer, Software Engineer or Design Engineer.
Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or Firmware.
R&D and new product development experience, ideally from a consultancy environment.
Experience in embedded software and PCB layout.
