Junior Merchandiser - Mobile Phones
DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a Junior Merchandiser to contribute to the delivery of Category performance and achieve the annual budget by supporting the Merchandiser to manage the activity required at line level to generate forecasts and plan in-take.
The Junior Merchandiser will create and control financial plans for selected Merchandise areas that support the overall commercial business strategy. Working with the Head of Merchandise to lead the Category planning, in-season category performance and open to buy processes through effective WSSI control and robust analysis to make effective profit creation and retention decisions.

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
• Collaborate with the Channel teams to support the Trading and Commercial activities.
• Co-ordinate the Demand planning process and reconcile the live forecast at a Category and Sub Category level
• Report on and realign Forecast inaccuracy within the CPFR process.
• Co-ordinate the Supply planning process and provide the inputs to the Open to Buy activity.
• Achieve Availability at 97%+ and manage the variances to target.
• Achieve Warehouse Availability at 95%+ and manage the variances to target.
• Co-ordinate the Suppliers to achieve 95%+ OTIF and lead the corrective action planning process to realign the variance to target.
• Co-ordinate life cycle management - master data, auto replenishment and must stocks.
• Co-ordinate the inbound delivery schedule and ensure capacity is aligned.
• Implement Value Add projects and business change initiatives.
• Motivate, develop and manage the performance of your team.
• Organise and implement the daily / weekly schedule of the team
You will need:
• To be Degree educated or similar qualification in a technical discipline.
• Industry experience in an FMCG / Retail environment.
• Systems knowledge- MS Office (Strong in Excel and Access) / Merchandising i.e. Manugistics, SAP, JDA, Oracle or similar
• To be a Problem solver, analytical thinker, able to articulate the case and engage people to support to achieve the goal
