Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 17.00pm and Friday 7.00am - 15.00pm Flexible approach to working overtime
GBP10.00 - GBP13.00 per hour DOE
We are looking for a CNC Wood Machinist/Panel Processor Programmer/Operator to work for our well established and respected client who are specialists in their field.
The right candidate will have basic computer skills and Alpha Cam software experience is preferable
Day to day duties include:
* Making sure products are produced on time and are of good quality
* Working with wood on a SCM Record 132 CNC machine
* Using all machinery in a safe and efficient manner
* Using schedules and check sheets
* Programing and drafting
* Flexibility with roles
* Can do attitude
* Rotating tooling
* Preparing and working from technical drawings
* Ensure that machinery is being utilised to its maximum capability without compromising the quality of the products being produced.
* Use the correct tools for the process to reduce downtime
* Use schedules and job lists provided, to allow tracking of work through the production process
* Program the CNC machines using alpha cam software to provide safe and efficient programs for the cutting of every material used.
* Produce cad drawings to be used to create CNC programs
* Be flexible to be able to working in other departments as and when required by the company
