We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate individuals who wants to make a difference and are able to demonstrate their personal commitment to the environment.

Core of this role is building on the excellent foundation our green space management has achieved, actively looking for engagement projects, funding and sustainable ways to bring this asset to the heart of what we do. Ensuring that our green assets help to promote health and wellbeing within the community.

The successful applicant will have experience of managing a team, responsible for key customer facing areas, as well as understanding and developing effective strategies based on data and business intelligence.

As an experienced professional, you will lead the delivery of the Environmental and Sustainability Strategy, understand and demonstrate the need for Carbon Targets, ensure organisational awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues, whilst ensuring excellent customer services.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will in all likelihood have experience of working in sustainability and environment and be able to develop and implement sustainability compliance within the affordable housing arena. Experience of waste management and responsible sourcing is desirable however, this is not essential.

You will have financial acumen, the ability to work creatively and have proven experience in this area. You will have a sound knowledge, coupled with enthusiasm and a desire to deliver to tight deadlines.
