Reports to: Managing Director
Role purpose: To be the main point of call for all HR questions within company and to continuously review and ensure the company is up to date with legalisation.

Chartered Membership of the CIPD
5+ years experience of being a HR Manager
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CIPD Level 7 in Human Resource Management
Experience within the construction industry
Recruitment experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
Be the first point of call for all HR issues, questions and concerns from employees and managers
Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
Track and prompt managers on Performance Development Review Meetings
Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
Manage all aspects of recruitment
Produce employee documents i.e Job Descriptions, reference letters.
Carry out new starter HR inductions.
Manage talent and succession planning.
Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
Absence and holiday management
Work closely with HESQT to ensure training records are maintained and recorded
Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Manage employee paper files
Conduct exit interviews
Create and analysis employee relation surveys
Manage the updating of company people system to always be up to date.
Support change management processes
