Title: Part-Time Communications Officer
Based: Cambridge
Hours: Part-time 18.5 hours per week
Salary: GBP15,471-GBP16,899 (GBP30,942-GBP33,797 FTE)
The Cambridge Philosophical Society is looking for a proactive and efficient individual who can create compelling and dynamic digital content. Creativity, attention to detail and strong visual skills are paramount. The successful candidate will be expected to find original ways to engage with and disseminate information to our members, academics in the University of Cambridge, the wider community and strategic individuals and groups.
Using our website, social media, videos and podcasts, you will be active in seeking opportunities to raise the profile and promote the activities, events and aims of the Society and use your creative instincts to grow our cross sectoral audience and increase our membership.
The successful candidate will have experience in all social media communications including collating videos and podcasts, excellent writing skills together with a keen interest and knowledge of the natural sciences.
This is a newly created position and the salary for this 0.5 FTE position (18.5 hours per week) will be GBP15,471-GBP16,899 (GBP30,942-GBP33,797 FTE), depending on qualifications and experience, plus employer's pension contributions.
