An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join a well-known Retail company as an experienced Payroll Manager. You will have two direct reports and ensure as a team leader you work collectively and manage team working whilst at home with view of working in the office in the near future. Our client is an exciting business which is going through growth and requires not only experience but drive and energy to play a crucial part within the company.
The role;
Responsible for department improvements with existing processes to ensure compliant
Be accountable for over 3500 employees which consists of stores, HO and Warehouse
Review your teams activities and ways of working with being remote currently and how to ensure team
Strong business partner to Senior management across HR and Talent teams to ensure full support from Payroll to the wider business
Identify and drive forward projects that improve the overall efficiency and knowledge with current COVID-19 payroll legislation
Responsible for tracking and monitoring of weekly and monthly payroll to Head of HR and Financial Director
Skills needed;
Minimum 3 years Management experience
Able to work in a fast paced environment with ongoing change
Flexible approach and approachable
Knowledge of current COVID-19 payroll regulations
Driven and well organised
