We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Housing or Support worker to join a leading not-for-profit organisation, and develop their knowledge and skills in this interesting and varied sector.
You will manage a small team of staff who deliver support to single homeless people in temporary hostel accommodation. You will carry your own caseload of service users, supporting them with sourcing move-on accommodation, benefits applications, life skills and everyday needs, as well as giving support and further sign-posting for additional needs, such as drug and alcohol misuse or mental health needs.
You will have experience within a relevant housing support environment, and will have a good working knowledge of homelessness and associated needs. You will also have some supervisory or management experience. You will hold a relevant level 3 qualification. You will also need to be a driver with access to transport.
Working Hours
Monday - Sunday (shifts between 8am - 10pm, including 1 in 3 weekends) with occasional emergency sleep-in cover
37 hours pw
