Cleaning Supervisor / Checker
We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor / Checker for our Brixham based client. The ideal candidate will have worked in a hospitality / domestic cleaning role previously and be passionate about keeping standards high. You will be managing a small team, so must be confident checking their work, and giving them constructive feedback when required. This is a family run, very friendly environment, so whilst the role requires someone who can be firm, a sense of humour is essential! You will be working for 30 hours per week in high season (until October), the hours may reduce to a minimum of 20 hours per week in the winter months, however due to the increase in people deciding to holiday in the UK, it is possible the hours won't drop.

Duties -
* Ensuring any cleaning materials (clothes & mops etc..) are clean and prepped for the week.
* Making sure cleaning trolleys are well stocked.
* Ensuring linen and towels are laundered, dried, and bundled up for each unit.
* Taking stock of departures and arrivals, ensuring the work is allocated to the cleaning team, and prioritised inline with check in & out times.
* Making sure each unit is cleaned appropriately (deep cleaned, spring cleaned or freshened up).
* Checking the units after they have been cleaned, and ensuring they are up to scratch, & if anything has been missed rectifying it.
* Taking note of any cleaning that has been accidentally missed, and where necessary providing the cleaner in question with constructive feedback to avoid the same mistake being repeated.
* You may also be required to muck in and clean the units should any of the team be absent.
Hours -
* Tuesday - 9am - 4pm
* Wednesday - 9am - 4pm
* Thursday - 10am- 2pm
* Friday - 10am - 5pm
* Saturday - 10am - 5pm
* Sunday - Off
* Monday - Off
If you have high cleaning standards and the ability to manage a small and very efficient team apply today.
