Full Time, Term Time Only: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Shift patterns will be based upon the Childcare Centre opening/closing times (8.00am - 5.45pm Monday-Friday)

We are now looking to recruit a Nursery Officer to join us to provide a positive, caring and stimulating environment for children within the Childcare Centre.

Developing positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents, you will work as a Key Worker, within an allocated room providing up to date information on child development and must plan, prepare and implement a variety of appropriate activities and experiences to ensure a high-quality Early Years Curriculum (EYFS) is planned and carried out.

Candidates should have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and be able to prepare detailed assessments on individual children to share with parents, colleagues and other professionals.

With a level 3 Childcare Qualification, CACHE Diploma, BTEC or equivalent and recent and relevant experience of working with children from three months to five years, candidates must have knowledge on Safeguarding Children, Food Safety 2 Certificate, equality and diversity, health and safety and Paediatric First Aid.
