A great opportunity has been created for a Senior Finance Analyt to take on the responsibilities of a finance manager witin a business that has seen year on year growth.
Responsibilties:
Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts a
Preparation of monthly cost centre analysis
Analysis of gross margin and overhead.
Weekly analysis of order intake and revenue, distribution of results.
Responsibility for the completion of the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation.
Assisting in producing detailed forecasting and budgeting.
Maintenance and interrogation of the fixed asset registers (tangible & intangible).
Responsibility for all Capex related expenditure
Maintenance and interrogation of stock control accounts
Performing regular Project/contract reviews and working alongside Project Managers to review costs at various miles stones of the contract, as well as estimates to complete
Attending project meetings and adding value to projects through the various milestones
Produce the monthly reports, review Project performance against targets - highlighting trends & variances and providing finance analysis by projects and key issues and lessons learnt
Updating, maintaining and monitoring the key project KPI's
Prepare the annual R&D Tax credit claim
Completion of the interim & full year statutory pack.
Completion of the annual statutory accounts.
Experience:
3 years minimum in finance role
Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Advanced system skills - specifically excel
