Our client who is based within a highly regarded public sector organization, have a temporary role for a Correspondence Officer. This role attracts a pay rate of GBP13.59 per hour and is based in Glasgow City Centre. The hours of work are Mon - Thu, 8.30am to 5pm and Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Applicants must have a current Basic Disclosure Scotland, Certificate dated within the last 12 months.

Main Duties
The post holder will work in a small team within Ferries Policy, this covers aspects such as routes & services, timetables, local authority ferries, Covid response and fares policy.
Assisting with press releases, Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary Questions etc. Monitoring and preparation of high quality and accurate draft responses to frequent press queries, briefing requests, PQs, MACCS cases and FOI requests.
Arrange meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all appropriate arrangements are in place.
Take accurate and concise minutes of meetings/calls where necessary.
Maintain and keep all trackers and reference documents up to date, including briefings logs, MACCS and PQ trackers.
Essential Skills
Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to balance competing demands within tight deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to work under own initiative, bringing forward recommendations and solutions
