Role: Virtual Customer Service Associate
Location: In your home! UK
Pay rate: GBP10.75
Amazon is seeking bright, articulate, detail-oriented and disciplined applicants with a desire to contribute to excellent customer service in a virtual (Work from Home) environment.
If you are a people person and can deliver great customer service, this role is for you.
What will you be doing?
As a virtual customer service associate, you will act as the first point of contact for our customers by answering their queries through phone, chat or email. Amazon Customer Service Associates are a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate, and professional customer service to all Amazon customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers in resolving a variety of issues. Associates will be required to communicate with customers via phone, email and chat so a suitable home office and quiet work area is required. Associates will utilize a variety of software tools to navigate issues, research and review policies, and communicate effective solutions in a fun and fast-paced environment.
We operate from 6am to 10pm; shift patterns may include work over weekends and public holidays.
Basic skills required
??? At least 3 months of work experience (any environment)
??? Fluent in English & German with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
??? Ability to navigate the internet, email, and chat to customers via Instant Messenger tools
??? Ability to cope well in a high pressure environment while maintaining high quality outputs
Additional skills required
??? Uphold company values and respect every customer
??? Exude patience and ownership with each customer
??? Ability to resolve conflicts and set appropriate expectations with customers
??? Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both external customers and co-workers
??? Composition skills - ability to consistently compose a grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written response to customer issues
??? Ability to make appropriate decisions on behalf of the customer quickly and effectively
What do we need from you?
??? You'll need to provide a quiet, distraction free workspace within a dedicated room. You will need to have an ergonomic desk and chair.
??? From a technical perspective, you would need to have a minimum broadband connection of 25MB download speed and 10MB upload speed using a hard-wire ethernet internet connection (no WiFi). We will provide you with a complete equipment package ahead of your first day of training.
??? You have the right to work in the UK.
