Role Overview
We are looking for a Hard FM Manager to join us as part of the Hard Services Team at The Churchill Hospital in Oxford to provide expertise and leadership to the site based technicians, ensuring legislative compliance through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance. This will need to be delivered across the service streams associated with the functional operation of the Churchill phase 3 facilities.
Some of your key responsibilities will include working with the CAFM Team to develop the Asset and Lifecycle regime and working with appropriate internal resource and specialist sub-contractors to ensure compliance through documented processes and procedures for audit purposes. You will manage the development and implementation of local and corporate policies within Hard Services to ensure delivery in line with strategy, legislation and corporate policy.
You will adhere to the agreed SLAs, provide health and safety support, develop and maintain relations with the SPV and Trust and provide Authorised person coverage across varying disciplines and mentoring for future Competent and Authorised Persons.
The role requires someone who can lead and drive change whilst delivering strategies though collaboration and cooperation.
Site Overview
Churchill Hospital is a centre of excellence for cancer services and other specialties, including renal services and transplants, clinical and medical oncology, dermatology, haemophilia, chest medicine and palliative care.
In 2009 the hospital saw a major new development consisting of an integrated cancer and haematology Centre, a surgery and diagnostics centre and the Wytham Wing - housing the Wytham Ward (transplants) and private outpatients.
G4S FM deliver the following services and employs circa 200 staff: Helpdesk, Patient and Retail Catering, Cleaning, Portering, Planned and Reactive Maintenance, Lifecycle Replacement, Grounds Maintenance and Pest Control.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience of team management
* Mechanical and / or Electrical qualification
* Health and Safety qualification
* Qualifications allowing future appointment as AP
* Understanding of: HV & LV, Medical Gas systems, Healthcare ventilation systems
* Experience of TREND BMS systems
* Experience of PFI/PPP model
Desirable Requirements
* Member of a recognised body
* NEBOSH qualification
* Experience of ISO9001
