The FSI Learning Centre at Farnborough, UK leads on EASA training for corporate and regional, fixed and rotary wing aircraft: Gulfstream, Hawker, Cessna, Bombardier and Sikorsky, together with a full range of enrichment and specialty training. The role:

The Centre Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Learning Centre. The successful candidate will lead a 100+ team of managers, pilot instructors, simulator technicians and administrative staff with support from corporate FSI business functions. This is a full-time position based at Farnborough Airport, UK.

Responsibilities include; but not limited to:
  • Management of the Farnborough team in accordance with FSI principles and behaviours.
  • Leading the Centre's activities to ensure FSI overall goals and objectives are achieved while providing Customers with a quality training experience.
  • Establishing and maintaining a "Customer oriented" business relationship with each Customer.
  • Representing Farnborough Learning Centre at the various senior management forums.
  • Ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) is used to encourage continual improvement and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Sound knowledge and experience in delivery of technical training services.
  • Proven aviation experience in management at a similar level - highly desirable.
  • P+L management experience.
  • A technical degree in a related engineering or business field is preferred.
  • Experience related to operating and/or managing a small business or corporate cost centre is preferred.
