Senior Training Officer
One of the largest principal private pension schemes for universities & other higher education institutions in the UK have a very rare vacancy for a Senior Training Officer to join their team.
This role is based in Liverpool, with an element of remote working until the offices are fully re-opened.

The Senior Training Officer will provide support in achieving the strategic people objectives in learning and development for the Pensions business, wider business and employers as set out in the HR strategy and L&D plan.
The Senior Training Officer will provide technical knowledge in the scoping, design and delivery of Pensions business training to enable the team to function effectively. You will support in identifying training requirements for the pensions business and employers, ensuring that suitable training plans are established, implemented and evaluated. Acting as a lead on key strategic programmes, in line with the business plan.
The key responsibilities of your role will be to:
Play a key role in supporting deliverables in the L&D joint plan
Design robust and sustainable training solutions (Classroom, virtual and online) to support the business requirements internally and externally to our clients, bearing in mind our diversity and inclusion programme of work
Deliver all aspects of training pertinent to Pensions Operations, the wider business and employers as required
Manage and provide support to those undertaking educational and job-related qualifications
Liaise with key members of the business to ensure dissemination of information re Scheme Change / development of new products
Design online modules
Provide subject matter expertise to the technical aspect of the Employer Training and internal pensions related training.We are looking for an experienced Senior/Training Officer who has pensions knowledge and working experience, a PMI or CPC qualification and is interested in working in a pensions business where no two days are the same. You will be designing, delivering, and evaluating courses for the pensions business so previous experience of this is essential.
