A new role for an experienced Training Champion has come about within a busy, highly successful wealth management business, Eight Wealth Management Ltd, who are Principal Partners of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc on a permanent basis.

Eight Wealth Management Ltd was the first partnership within SJP to hit more than GBP1.1bn of FUM which we are extremely proud of.
The Role
Due to growth, and passion for developing our people, we are creating a new position here at Eight. The Training Champion will be part of our existing People & Culture team, helping to deliver our People Strategy.
You will be responsible for the design, coordination, sourcing, and delivery of; role specific, corporate/compliance, development, line management/leadership, and technology training.
As this is a brand new role you will be able to help shape the future of training, however you will need to hit the floor running with senior managers and line managers to understand our training gaps throughout the business and then present back to the Head of People & Culture around how we are to deliver a training programme to our people. Once we have this in place there is a huge amount of work to help create a framework to continue to support our people's future careers. Whilst there is a lot to be done, we always aspire to do this in a fun, creative and supportive way.
We are currently experiencing massive changes in systems and technology, so we are looking for someone who can quickly respond to these changes and train our people so that they can effectively use the technology systems and apps available to them. We will need you to also champion the use of technology and the benefits that these changes will bring in order to maximise operational performance.
Although technology training is an immediate focus, this is not just a technology training delivery role, we are very much an employee culture business. We have created a strategy that focuses on growing talent at Eight, so there will be plenty of opportunity for you to really get to understand what makes Eight an amazing place to work and how we can develop a programme that captivates our new and existing team members throughout their time with us.
The Person
You will need to be captivating and bring training to life through fun and engaging training. Be creative in your approach, bringing vision and flare to everything you do. We have a lot to achieve and big ambition within the People & Culture team, so you must have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to do an amazing job! We are passionate about people and so you must be too, so you will be experienced in combining performance with personality. You must have a can do attitude and bring the team solutions not problems.
