IT Infrastructure Team Leader

We need someone who is a skilled Infrastructure Team Leader on a 12 months fixed term contract to provide technical leadership for a team of 8 IT engineers. We will consider this role being fulfilled by someone living in the UK working remotely.

Do you:

• Have experience of leading IT Infrastructure specialists in a technical leadership role?
• Have experience working in a professional, customer focused, ITIL environment?
• Have experience working with technical project delivery, liaising with project managers and 3^rd parties?
• Find opportunities to drive greater efficiencies by implementing automation / best practice
• Have experience in guiding technical teams through Analysis, Design, Testing, implementation and Knowledge Transfer phases, leading by example with integrity and competence
• Have experience producing documentation, diagrams, and procedures?
• Have real world experience of some / all of the following technologies / solutions with the priority being Microsoft Server technologies such as private and public cloud.
  • Microsoft server products including Azure
  • Experience working with and delivering Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience and knowledge working with Hyper-Converged technologies such as Nutanix
  • Virtual host solutions, preferably VM Ware or HyperV
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Suite
  • Microsoft APP-V /RDS /Terminal services/ Thin client delivery
  • Access Control Management
  • Client VPN solutions (Netmotion / Direct Access / Microsoft Always On VPN)
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • DHCP/DNS
  • Experience of working with switching and routing in an enterprise environment
  • Experience of working with LAN & WAN technologies in an enterprise environment
  • Experience of troubleshooting networks
  • Experience of managing firewalls in an enterprise environment
  • Wi-Fi (Cisco/Aruba/Meraki)
  • Internet security technologies, Web Proxy, Mail and Web Filtering
  • Experience and knowledge in security standards for private and could infrastructure solutions
  • Network VPNs
