Account Executive
Account Executive - GBP22,000 + Commission
One of our clients in the power tool industry are looking to hire an Account Executive to assist with key accounts and to build a sales pipeline to drive new business growth.
Role responsibilities
Producing and sending out quotations using word and sage 50.
Support the tracking & production of monthly quoted & lost process.
Assisting with the Management of Key Accounts.
Understanding the requirements of the customer and internal departments.
Assist the sales managers with receiving incoming leads to the sales department.
Making outbound calls to generate appointments.
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
Maintaining various company databases.
Supporting the production of Management Information on both an ad-hoc basis for client meetings and monthly internal reporting purposes.
Develop strong working relationships with Sales managers.
Liaising with internal colleagues and external customers on a daily basis.
Assisting with marketing initiatives including (driving the direct and digital sales process through structured planning and marketing campaigns, following up on leads, ensuring all opportunities are registered and followed up within the agreed timelines).
Assist the sales team in processing pricing tender requests, including driving and leading any tender strategy & activities.
Accessing the national database to advise the sales team of the relevant information held.
Key Skills
The successful applicant must be;
Well organised on a day to day basis
Highly motivated and committed to providing a top-quality service to our customers.
Have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Previous experience in similar role would be preferred and experience in CRM would be a big advantage.
Must have a good working knowledge of MS Office packages and ideally sage 50.
