Our client safely deliver and maintain essential water, gas, and electricity supplies for millions of customers daily. Since starting the Company in 2000, the company has grown considerably and now employ over 2000 people across the country.
Job Purpose
Our client is looking for an experienced Streetworks Administrator who is familiar with providing supporting their team, enjoys a challenging and busy environment, has excellent communication skills and who ideally has a background in NRSWA, Streetworks, Utilities or Highways.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate data records.
* Follow defined work management processes at all times
* Daily coordination with the Network Supervisors Deal with day to day issues, escalating to the Streetworks Manager as appropriate
* The role will involve regularly liaising with local authorities and other third parties to ensure effective works collaboration where necessary
* Performing in a busy and demanding office environment
* To ensure that all notices and permits that are required to work on the Highway are accurately applied for.
* To ensure that permit conditions are monitored, and the status of notices/permits are continuously monitored to ensure that site teams are working compliantly.
* As a Streetworks Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting the management and administration of Streetworks on behalf of the Main Contractor which will involve Monitoring and co-ordination of road works
* As a Streetworks Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for responding to any Section 74 and Fixed Penalty Notices charges that may occur
* Ensuring the preparation and accuracy of job packs and utility prints to be issued to work teams
* Responsible for coordination of traffic management requirements
Qualifications/Skills Required
??You should be experienced in the use of Streetworks permitting systems and scheduling of utility works
??You should have a good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA) • Competent in arranging Traffic Management for planned works
??You should be proficient in Microsoft packages and be a good communicator
