HR and Payroll Officer, Stoke-on-Trent Permanent HR, Recruitment and payroll support

Your new company
A large educational trust based in the heart of Staffordshire is looking to appoint a an experienced HR officer with experience of payroll to support its function. The business is a multi site operation and you would be part of a growing Human Resource function

Your new role
You will be providing support across the Human Resources and payroll function of the business covering but is not limited to, recruitment, absence management, policies and procedures, new starters, leavers, payroll and general HR support.

What you'll need to succeed
HR Administration

Assisting the HR team with administrative tasks relating to the recruitment, employment and termination of employment of all employees
To maintain effective HR and Payroll information of all staff
To contribute towards the further development of the HR service provision
To assist with the recruitment and selection process including information collection, interview confirmations and recruitment literature
Support the onboarding processes of new starters
Absence managementPayroll and Pensions administration

Support on all payroll tasks
Prepare and input the monthly payroll information
To run the monthly payroll and provide reports
Support HR function with any payroll queries
To complete all relevant documentation relating to the joining and leaving pensions forms.
What you'll get in return
Salary ranging between GBP19,000-GBP20,000 please not that is is a term time position only so the salary will be pro rata
