We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join us and help us to continue delivering award-winning products.

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll help to ensure that we manufacture our products in line with legislative requirements, including food and environmental safety and health and safety. 

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will: 

- Assist with the day-to-day management of the site quality management systems 
- Perform product testing 
- Communicate the requirements of customers and audit bodies to colleagues across the business 
- Assist with quality-related training
- Support the investigation of customer complaints 

About You 

To join us as a Quality Assurance Technician, you will need:

- A good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice, Right First Time and 5S
- Strong communication skills 
- A proactive approach 

Completion of Intermediate Food Hygiene, Intermediate HACCP, Manual Handling, Pest Awareness and Risk Assessment training would be beneficial, as would knowledge of cheese/dairy or an awareness of microbiology and sampling techniques.

An IOSH qualification or Internal Audit qualification would be equally advantageous.
