We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join us in Torquay and support the success of our building projects across the South West.

The Role

As the Engineering Manager, you will assist the Head of Department in the management and organisation of projects, ensuring that the engineering elements are delivered efficiently and to programme, while achieving targets for both the project and the client’s brief.

You will be responsible for the projects and tasks assigned to you and the members of staff and external design teams allocated to those projects.

In this important role, you will:

- Motivate your team to complete tasks to the highest standards
- Manage your own set of pre-development and live projects
- Provide cost-effective engineering solutions, as well as support and guidance to the Project team

About You

To join us as our Engineering Manager, you will need:

- In-depth knowledge of drainage, highways and structures
- A strong understanding of AutoCAD and Microsoft packages
- Excellent leadership and management skills, including the ability to coach and motivate others
- A full driving licence and the willingness to travel to sites across the South West
