Laser Operative

We have a vacancy for a Laser Operative to join our experienced team of Crafts people, Technicians and Engineers based at our premises in Grimsby.

The role will be working as part of a team and is responsible for the finishing, polishing, de-burring and order picking for laser cut parts. Candidates who have experience in setting and loading of flatbed laser machines are welcomed. Responsibilities also include the delivery and collection of orders and consumables for the department, so a valid driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret the order schedule for the collation of the customer order. In addition candidates must be able to read and understand engineering drawings for quality control of laser cut parts.

Candidates must have the ability to work as part of a team and under their own initiative as well and being flexible and adaptable. A fork lift truck licence would be advantageous.

An attractive hourly rate is available to the successful applicant.
