Architect / Draught Person
About The Role
HC-One are on a mission to be the first choice care home for Residents and colleagues in each of the communities we serve.
Reporting directly to the Head of Property Development and Projects, The Purose of the role is to: P erform all phases of architectural work including obtaining all statutory approvals, design and overseeing of construction. You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match both corporate and client needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs
Your role will involve:
• Managing projects from start to finish and ensure high quality, innovative and functional design to meet the end user expectation and requirements.
• Take the "brief" to identify corporate and client needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Develop ideas keeping in mind corporate and client's needs, building's usage and environmental impact.
• Liaise with Local Authorities, professional consultants in obtaining all statutory approvals.
• Produce detailed drawings/plans and make any necessary amendments and alterations.
• Compile project specifications.
• Keep within budgets and timelines.
• Ensure all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
• Make all necessary site visits to check on project status and report on project.
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals.
• Follow and research architectural trends and advancements.
About You
With proven experience as an Architect, the ideal person for HC-One will hold a BS degree in Architecture and be RIBA Registered. You will have knowledge of building products, construction details and understanding of the relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
