You will join us as a Commercial/Sales Director within our Wholesale b2b division. As a key driver of future growth, the role is primarily responsible for driving the wholesale strategy and recruiting new clients whilst growing and retaining existing partners. This role will report directly to the Managing Director.
Sales Director Responsibilities:
- Support and develop the commercial team through inspirational management.
- Provide thought leadership to the wider sales team.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to deliver the annual and strategic plans.
- Develop and implement a senior contract strategy with key national accounts.
- Support the mapping of key customer and internal processes.
- End to end responsibility for all high-level 'new business' activity
Sales Director Requirements:
- Inspirational sales leader with a proven track record in a B2B environment, preferably within FMCG (Supplier or Distributor) with a proven ability to lead, manage, coach and inspire a sizeable team.
- Balance of development and new business focus, with a proven track record in securing and developing large, contracted accounts in a comparable business environment.
- Previous experience of high value customer negotiations and a track record of securing large-scale and complex contracts as a result of formal tenders.
- Disciplined and process-led sales leader, capable of implementing best in class sales behaviours around pipeline building and management.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders both internal and external.
