Full-time | Permanent | £25,536 - £29,683 per annum

City College Plymouth is looking for a motivational Work Experience & Placement Officer to work within our Student Journey team. This role is perfect for people who enjoy building relationships with students and external employers, and who have experience in engaging with businesses and motivating young people to come out of their comfort zone through valuable work placements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with employers and developing opportunities for them to work in partnership with us to secure meaningful work experience placements for our students.

Working to deadlines, you will be accountable for work placement across a number of curriculum strands, as well as helping to organise sector-specific progression events, live briefs and other activities and projects that benefit our students. You may also be involved in delivering employability sessions to students, preparing them for the world of work.

You should have excellent communication skills and an ability to provide exceptional customer service.
