Starboard Personnel are delighted to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of our long-standing established client based in the Barnsley. Our client is a market leader in the supply of commercial parts across the UK and abroad.
Due to Maternity our client is looking to recruit a full time Supply Chain Supervisor to work Monday to Friday 08.30am-5pm. This role is for approximately 9 months and may go permanent for the right individual.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following processes:
* Raising & managing purchase orders through our client's system
* Controlling inbound shipments, updating the calendar, scheduling and arranging the correct shipment documentation
* FMU
* Shortages
* System maintenance
* Order progressing and controlling supplier payments.
* Pre-Deliveries
* G RN's
* Location management on the system updating stock transfers.
* US maintenance of our client's system and controlling all bank payments
The Candidate
* Previous Experience within supply chain or purchasing.
* Ability to manage a team
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal.
* Ability to deal effectively with queries.
* Previous experience with using Focus & Slim stock is advantageous
