The global wealth & asset management BMC program lead is a key leadership role responsible for developing a global brand, marketing and communications strategy and tactical plans that will build EY's brand in the sector, shape the disruptive agenda, create distinctive buyer experiences and drive revenue growth through solution campaigning.

The global wealth & asset management BMC program lead will be responsible for translating EY's global wealth & asset management business priorities and trends, into marketing and communications strategies and issue-led programs that connect target buyers to EY's disruption & transformation agenda and sector solutions. This person, demonstrates creativity, innovation, digital first mindset, and strong connectivity to regions and targeted accounts. The role reports directly to the global financial services industry BMC leader and will be a key member of the global financial services BMC leadership team, including the other financial services sector BMC leads for banking & capital markets and insurance, as well as our regional BMC leads in EMEIA, Americas and APAC. The global wealth & asset management BMC program leadership role requires an experienced and resilient marketing strategist with a deep understanding of differentiated marketing programs and targeted buyer mapping. The role will be required to build strong relationships across business sector leaders, client-serving professionals and regional BMC networks.

Success in this role will be achieved through the leadership of a world-class global wealth & asset management marketing strategy and flawless execution of tactical plans that create measurable market impact: create a leadership "disruptive" brand position, create distinctive buyer experiences, expand EY's addressable market and enable revenue growth.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide strong BMC program leadership to the global wealth & asset management sector leadership team
  • Active participant on global financial services BMC leadership team - collaborate closely with other sector and regional leads to jointly achieve shared global sector marketing goals, while executing sector-based programs. Create a global brand, marketing and communications strategy that positions EY as the most trusted advisor for the next era for wealth & asset management; aligning with our global wealth & asset management business plan and growth priorities
  • Is an influencer and able to support and encourage methods for driving innovation and change across the sector's go to market (GTM) strategy
  • Take an organizational-level view of implications; manage competing forces and drive understanding, motivation and stakeholder value
  • Collaborate with the network of global wealth & asset management marketing and communications colleagues in priority regions; create strong relationships that enable the successful co-creation, co-development and co-deployment of Global programs into regional markets
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the global wealth & asset management leadership team, including service line, regional and account leaders
  • Collaborate with external agencies to create differentiated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results and align to overall firm and global sector programs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on global wealth & asset management issues, trends and long-term implications for EY's brand in the sector and its GTM approach, and take a leading role in creating best-in-class issue-based global wealth & asset management programs that drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-sector industry markets BMC teams to find opportunities to share and leverage each other's work for relevant audiences and to execute high impact industry markets programs within the financial services segment

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent area of study or experience)
  • Good understanding of the business and market issues facing the global wealth & asset management sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships in the sector and beyond
  • Experience in digital marketing, sales campaigns and driving revenue
  • Ability to challenge views and perspectives, influence and lead change at a leadership level
  • Experience managing complex global marketing programs
  • Experience of navigating complex global organizations
  • A self-starter with strong entrepreneurial skills
  • Experience working as part of diverse and virtual high-performance teams
  • Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders

  • Global B2B / professional services firm marketing expertise
  • Deep knowledge of EY's offerings
