Due to this level of growth, an experienced Maintenance Engineer is wanted to join their highly skilled team.

Your new role
As an electrically biased maintenance engineer, you will be joining a team of engineers and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of production equipment, whilst also ensuring continuous availability across the business. You will report directly into the Engineering team leader and will be able rectify and eliminate equipment faults and machine down time. Your main duties will include:

Maintain all mechanical and electrical equipment in a manner making it fit and safe for use
Maintain the fabric of the building within the maintenance departments capabilities
Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, repairing and installing when necessary.
Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner
Carry out routine maintenance.
Hydraulic and pneumatic work
Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
Contributes to team effort with a good mechanical background in a manufacturing environment
What you'll need to succeed
You are an electrically biased Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an industry recognised engineering qualification (minimum of NVQ Level 3). You can demonstrate proven experience of work in manufacturing and specifically in a food production environment. You are a forward thinking, pro-active individual who understands the importance of keeping downtime to a minimum. You are a hard worker who strives to work quickly and efficiently and who takes pride in their work.
