Quality Assurance Manager
We are proud to represent a National client in their search for a Quality Assurance Manager. The successful candidate will be joining their team in their central production facility.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
* Weekly GMP audits
* Implementation and maintenance of high standards around Food Safety procedures.
* Train the team on food safety, H&S and food specifications and ensure they follow standards at all times
* Review HACCP when required
* Ensure the site is fully compliant with Food safety guidelines
* Ensure the team adheres to daily production plans
* Maintain the site 'audit ready'
* Assist in regular administration and management of micro sample submissions, probe calibration and swabbing
* Ensure raw materials/products deliveries are assessed to the standards required.
* Assist in collecting data for site KPI's
* Address any complaints in a professional manner with a solution oriented focus
* Conduct Internal Audits and co-ordinate closure of findings
Quality Assurance Manager Person Specification:
* Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Ideally extensive FMCG industry experience in a similar role.
* Food Hygiene and HACCP Level 3.
* Employee management/relations experience ability to engage/motivate subordinates and operational teams
* Auditing and problem solving skills with an eye for detail
* Capable of working on own initiative & within a team environment
* Ability to meet demanding deadlines from customers and company
