Supervise, train, lead and develop staff within the department
Ensure the daily production schedule is followed and completed and that this is recorded correctly
Act as first point of contact for resolving issues within your department
Be the link between the shop floor and management
Liaise with Production Manager regarding shortages which will affect scheduled work
Ensure paperwork is filled in correctly before sending on to any other departments
Attend weekly meetings and impart appropriate information to team members
Implement any changes and improvements that have been agreed
Ensure incoming goods are put away and stored correctly
Load and unload deliveries using correct MHE and taking into account all H&S requirements
Ensure internal stock requests are completed as per company objectives and stock adjusted accordingly
Liaise directly with purchasing department, regarding daily stock audits or internal stock
Pick and pack wholesale orders accurately and in good time co-ordinating with the
Despatch Department.
Complete daily stock replenishment and place in the designated picking locations.
Work with the Continuous Improvement Program to eliminate errors

Previous Warehouse Management experience ideal
Must be a good communicator.
Well organised, proactive and motivated
Hands-on and able to get the best out of the team,
Be competent in all manufacturing processes including the operation of machines
Must be flexible and prepared to work weekends and extra hours when necessary

Hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
23 days holiday per annum rising to 25 days with service plus bank holidays
