Cloud Solution Architect
A leading broadcast and media technology solutions company have an incredible opportunity for a Solution Architect to play a vital role in the successful initiation and implementation of cloud-based technology projects. This is a permanent position and can be based either in London or the South West UK.
Within this role you will be responsible for the analysis, requirement definition and architecture of cloud-based solutions for a variety of clients from within broadcasting, production, publishing and advertising. As the subject matter expert on public cloud and technologies you will create and validate high-level and low-level design documentation.
To be considered, you must have previously implemented Cloud-centric IaaS, PaaS or SaaS projects.
It is essential that you can demonstrate deep product knowledge and understanding of product features of Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, as well as virtualisation, VMware, Citrix, TLS/SSL, encryption and key management principles, networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies). Practical experience of sizing hardware and storage requirements and MSFT or AWS Certifications is also highly desirable.
You will also liaise closely on a regular basis with Cloud providers and work closely with customers to solve real business problems, so you must have fantastic communication skills.
