Electrical Supervisor
Our client is a leading international organization specializing in temporary power and the HVAC market. We are currently looking for an Electrical Services Supervisor to a join a newly created division in Swindon. This team will focus on the testing, repair and maintenance of Distribution Equipment, Automatic Mains Failure Units, Cable and Lighting.
Your key responsibilities:
* Supervision of Electrical Services staff.
* Daily planning and co-ordination of all Electrical Services activity, monitoring and implanting adherence to appropriate legislation and specific electrical test rules and regulations
* Oversee sourcing and allocation of Assets to meet contract requirements, including control, release and return of Assets as well as off-hire inspections and the processing of chargeable extras
* Monitor training and development needs of Electrical Services staff.
* Ensure repair of equipment is actioned promptly in order to maintain maximum availability in a cost effective manner, ensuring chargeable damage and shortages are processed in a timely manner.
* Promotion and monitoring of health and safety activities.
* Technical evaluation of orders and provide support to service engineers, depot staff and customers
* Control of calibration system for measuring and test equipment
* Any other duties commensurate with the role as reasonably requested by your line manager

Education / Qualifications
* Time-served Electrical apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 or higher.
* Ideally qualified BSth Edition
* Ideally qualified to City and Guilds 2330 or equivalent NVQ Level 2
* Supervisory management qualifications would be beneficial, e.g. ILM
