Our client are a leading Doncaster based company, specialising in new builds. They are currently looking for an Assistant Cost Manager to join the commercial department.
THE JOB:
Working within the department guided by Project Cost Managers and Managing Quantity Surveyors:-
• Compile documentation for sub-contract enquiries in collaboration with the Project Cost Managers.
• Review sub-contract
• Attend subcontractor pre-start meetings
• Contribute towards producing the information for Game Plan Live meetings
• Monitor Subcontractor and Labour performance closely
• Carry out monthly subcontractor payments
• Carry out fortnightly labour payments
• Contribute to the completion of monthly VCR' running cost reports and producing forecasts.
• NHBC registrations
• Register plot services
• Prepare Non-productive Cost reports
• Monitor timings of infrastructure and Section 106 payments
• Attend monthly Hub meeting where required
• Attend quarterly departmental team meetings
• Work collaboratively with other departments within the company

THE PERSON:
Essential
+ GCSE Maths and English (A*-C)
+ Full UK Driving License
Desirable
+ Further education in construction related subjects
+ Building trade qualifications
