Social Media Manager - London
I am working with an exciting startup who are going through rapid growth. They are looking for a Social Media Manager to be responsible for creating and growing their online communities.
To date the this has been owned by the founders however it needs full focus to ensure they get their social presence and channels in order.
The client is a company building exciting start-up ventures with corporate clients, to help transform industries and solve the world's biggest challenges. They are currently a team of 20 but are scaling quickly due to their success, they have already launched ventures in healthcare, cloud computing and insurance.
As a Social Media Manager in this role you will own community management across all social channels for the client and portfolio companies. You will identify audiences, practice community outreach, enhance engagement and monitor effectiveness.
The immediate challenges will be to audit and review their existing channels, understand what they are doing well and where they can improve. As mentioned you will be working with co-founders to tap into their network, brainpower and contacts to ensure they utilise their brand effectively. This role will eventually report into the Growth Marketer which is still to be hired.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have created and implemented a successful social media strategy and presence from scratch
Experience in creating and maintaining content calendars for all social communities; including writing Tweets and Status Updates, and managing image and video assets
Have used social media management (eg; Sprinklr, Spredfast, Hootsuite) and using social analytics tools (eg Facebook Insights, Crimson Hexagon, Topsy, NetBase, Simply Measured)
Experience working in a start-up environment or digital agency will put you in a great position for this role
