Digital Content Marketing Executive

TWI manages and operates the National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC), a centre for postgraduate industry led study. The role will be central to expanding TWI’s global visibility, driving content to new audiences, illustrating our core capabilities and the future vision of TWI within new markets and industries.


• Plan and execute content snippets across all digital channels, in conjunction with our corporate marketing activity plan (press releases, insights, our stories, our processes CGI’s).

• Work closely with the content creation team to plan workload and execute, aligned to our global calendar.

• Responsibility for all corporate email campaigns, utilising our third party email platform, DOTDIGITAL.

• Production of monthly engagement statistics across all channels.

To continuously review/optimise through industry leading metrics tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.

• Conducts themselves in line with TWI’s values of teamwork, innovation, taking responsibility, customer focus, adaptability and respect. Further activities will include (but not limited to):

• Digital content support for events, webinars and seminars, driving traffic to our web platforms.

• Optimisation of content, linked to analysis through GA/SEMrush. CMS mini-site build and development. Brand discovery, delivery and consistency. Liaise with technical project leaders to assist with technical content support/sign-off.

• Provide technical support, advise and guide NSIRC PhD students on marketing queries

Training provided on the below applications (beneficial if previous knowledge although not essential):

• Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Contensis CMS, Dotdigital, Adobe Spark

Key Skills for success:

• A keen interest in pursuing digital marketing as a career • An aptitude for creative writing

• Good understanding of social platforms e.g. Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram

• Experience across MS Office e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint

• Minimal experience using open source web platforms e.g. Wordpress


A levels: minimum 2, Grade C or above

GCSE’s: English grade B or above, Maths grade C or above, Science Grade C or above

Job Profile: Project Leader

Salary: Competitive

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 36 hours p/wk.
